Title: Hike/Snowshoe in the Gully Lake Wilderness on the Yellow Birch Trail
Summary: 6 km, easy to moderate difficulty depending on conditions. This trip will be a snowshoe if there is snow and a hike if there is not.
Time: 9:30 AM

Details: This trip is held in conjunction with HikeNS. The Yellow Birch Trail is the first trail at the Kemptown Road Trail head and connects to the Portage trail. The trail takes you through a scenic hardwood forest with bridges to cross small brooks. This trail gives you the pleasure of entering the wilderness forest immediately from the parking lot for great connections to the other trails in Gully Lake. Bring water, snacks, hat gloves, a wind shell and an extra layer of clothing. No cotton!! Contact is Ruth Mitchell, rumitche@gmail.com
